AnimeGrids is a daily anime grid trivia game. Fill a 3x3 board by choosing anime titles that match both the row clue and the column clue, then compare rarity scores with other players.

Broad story and audience labels from MyAnimeList. These describe the general kind of show.

The animation studio associated with a title. These clues reward knowing who made the anime.

Format

The time period when the anime was released. These clues use broad decade-style ranges.

MAL score

A MyAnimeList score threshold. The answer needs to meet or beat the listed score.

MAL rank

A MyAnimeList ranking threshold. Lower rank numbers are better, so highly ranked anime qualify.

MAL popularity

A MyAnimeList popularity threshold based on how widely watched or listed a title is.

Rarity score

Each correct answer gets a rarity percentage based on how many players used that same anime for the same square. Lower percentages mean rarer picks, and your overall score adds the 9 cell percentages together.
